Today the Prime Minister announced New Zealand will move to Alert Level 1 at 11:59pm on 21 September. Auckland will move to Alert Level 2 with no extra restrictions at 11:59pm on Wednesday 23 September.

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister today, Auckland will remain at Alert Level 3 and the rest of New Zealand will stay at Alert Level 2 for 12 more days until 26 August.
